The Great Miami River Trail is now closed from the Trenton Trailhead (50 Oxford State Rd., Middletown OH 45044) to River Center (120 South Carmody Blvd., Middletown OH 45044) due to work being completed by Duke.

GMRT Closure-5/8/22
The Great Miami River Trail is closed from the Trenton Trailhead (50 Oxford State Rd., Middletown OH 45044) to Columbia Trailhead (26 N. Carmody Blvd., Middletown OH 45044) due to flooding.
2022 Gilmore MetroPark Closures
Closures are in effect at Gilmore MetroPark to facilitate the Miami 2 Miami Trail construction project at Gilmore. For updates on current closures at the park, visit the "News" section of the MetroParks website.
Temporary closure of a section of the Pumpkin Vine Trail-Rentschler Forest MetroPark
Effective October 27, 2021 the west end of the Pumpkin Vine Trail located in the Reigart Road Area of Rentschler Forest MetroPark will be temporarily closed to park visitors to facilitate foot bridge construction. The expected duration of this closure is through December 31, 2021, but completion of construction and re-opening of the trail is weather dependent.
Great Miami River Trail Construction to Begin – Timberhill Area of Rentschler Forest MetroPark and Unpaved Portion of Great Miami River Trail to Close
Starting August 16, 2021, the Timberhill Area of Rentschler Forest MetroPark and the unpaved portion of the Great Miami River Trail (GMRT) connecting Timberhill to Reigart Road will close for construction of the Great Miami River Trail Extension project. The closure is expected to last until June 2022.
