Spring Amphibians with Jeff Davis
Special thanks to Herpetologist, Jeff Davis, for hosting Spring Amphibians Hikes at Salamander Run Preserve this past weekend. As it is every year, this annual program was very popular and had limited registration. So for those who could not attend, and for those who did, parts of the pre-hike in preparation for the program were recorded to share virtually!
Enjoy the sights and sounds of the amphibians just emerging for the season at closed park area, Salamander Run Preserve. Some of the species seen here call other MetroParks locations home as well. So keep your eyes and ears open as you visit all of the parks. As you do, please remember that these creatures belong in the habitat in which you may find them. Observe them with your eyes and snap a picture or two to identify and remember them once you leave the park!
We offer a periodic newsletter with information about upcoming events and programs.
