Search & Create Challenge #10

What do you get when you combine a hike with art?  A Search & Create Challenge!

The location for this week’s challenge is the Wildlife Preserve Area of Forest Run MetroPark. It's not nearly as colorful as the real spring wildflowers popping up all of over but see if you can find it as you explore the Prairie Overlook Trail.

Each week a different MetroPark will be featured in this challenge.  Hike that park in search of the work of art created by a member of the MetroParks team.  Then use your imagination to create your own masterpiece, on that same trail!

Here's how to join in this challenge and also respect the natural features of the parks:

Use sticks, twigs, rocks, leaves, nuts etc. as your art supplies, but only those that you find scattered on the ground.

Allow plants, trees and animals to be enjoyed for their own beauty, not as part of your creation.

Leave paint, chalk, crayons, markers, glue and other traditional art supplies at home.

Snap a photo of your creation to create an album of your works of art!  Share those photos by tagging them with #PixInMPX and #NatureDelivered or by emailing them to Programs@YourMetroParks.net.

Watch for photos to be posted on the MetroParks Facebook page!
