Creeking in the Parks
Rentschler Forest MetroPark's Reigart Road Area
It's time to go creeking! Join partners MetroParks of Butler County and Butler Soil & Water Conservation District as we explore the creeks at many MetroPark locations. Today, we are at Rentschler Forest MetroPark's Reigart Road Area in Fairfield Township.
Throughout this series, learn what lives in the creeks, their habitats and about fossils that can be found in the area. Print the Key to Life in the Pond worksheet below to identify the things you find living in the creek.
Next time, on Thursday, June 11th, we will be creeking at Elk Creek MetroPark's Sebald Park.
Check out these additional creeking resources!
We offer a periodic newsletter with information about upcoming events and programs.
