DIY Seed Starter Pots
Are you an avid gardener or thinking about planting one for the first time? Either way, for some things like peas, spinach & broccoli, it is time sow seeds directly into the garden. For others like cucumbers, squash & peppers, now is the time to start seeds indoors. Look in your recycling bin or kitchen trash can, and you will likely find things you can use to make your own seed starter containers. Even better than using things you already have on hand, is that these things are biodegradable and can be planted directly into the ground without disturbing the seedlings & roots.
Watch the video below for 3 ideas. Try one. Try them all. Or share your DIY seed container ideas with us! Either way, enjoy being on your way towards fresh produce in the months to come!
We offer a periodic newsletter with information about upcoming events and programs.
