Notice of Re-opening/Rescindment of Sycamore Bluffs Area of Four Mile Creek MetroPark

Based on the authority contained in Section 1545.09 20c of the Rules and Regulations of the MetroParks, the section of the real property known as Sycamore Bluffs Preserve in Milford Township, Butler County, Ohio, including the parking area adjacent to Four Mile Creek, which was closed to the public effective February 6, 2019, due to bridge construction work by Butler County, is re-opened effective November 15, 2019. 
Note that parts of the Sycamore Bluffs Area of Four Mile Creek MetroPark will remain closed to the general public until further notice.

  • Great Miami River Trail Construction to Begin – Timberhill Area of Rentschler Forest MetroPark and Unpaved Portion of Great Miami River Trail to Close

    Starting August 16, 2021, the Timberhill Area of Rentschler Forest MetroPark and the unpaved portion of the Great Miami River Trail (GMRT) connecting Timberhill to Reigart Road will close for construction of the Great Miami River Trail Extension project. The closure is expected to last until June 2022.

  • Gilmore MetroPark Closures - Beginning July 26, 2021

    The Gilmore Road Entrance to Gilmore MetroPark will be closed July 26, 2021 through October 29, 2021. The southwestern portion of Gilmore MetroPark will also be closed July 26, 2021 until Fall of 2022. These closures are for the City of Hamilton Utility Relocation and Miami 2 Miami Trail Projects. Please see the “news” section for details and maps of the closure areas.
