MetroParks February Board of Park Commissioners Meeting Rescheduled to Friday, February,26, 2021

Please note that the Board of Park Commissioners Meeting originally scheduled to occur virtually on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 8:30 AM is being postponed until Friday afternoon February 26, 2021 at 3:00 PM.  The meeting has been moved to assure the availability of a quorum.

An Agenda will be posted and made available to the public at least 48 hours in advance of the monthly meeting of the Board, as provided for in the By-laws of the Board.

  • Great Miami River Trail Construction to Begin – Timberhill Area of Rentschler Forest MetroPark and Unpaved Portion of Great Miami River Trail to Close

    Starting August 16, 2021, the Timberhill Area of Rentschler Forest MetroPark and the unpaved portion of the Great Miami River Trail (GMRT) connecting Timberhill to Reigart Road will close for construction of the Great Miami River Trail Extension project. The closure is expected to last until June 2022.

  • Gilmore MetroPark Closures - Beginning July 26, 2021

    The Gilmore Road Entrance to Gilmore MetroPark will be closed July 26, 2021 through October 29, 2021. The southwestern portion of Gilmore MetroPark will also be closed July 26, 2021 until Fall of 2022. These closures are for the City of Hamilton Utility Relocation and Miami 2 Miami Trail Projects. Please see the “news” section for details and maps of the closure areas.
