Construction Project Engineer Services

Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) for Construction Project Engineer (CPE) Services for the BUT-
GMRT Extension project at Rentschler Forest MetroPark Timberhill Area will be received by 
MetroParks of Butler County (Owner) at 2051 Timberman Road, Hamilton, OH 45013 until 2:00
P.M. (LOCAL TIME) on May 3, 2021. Email submissions will not be accepted.
Copies of the full RFQ document may be obtained on our website at www.yourmetroparks.net,
and may be accessed by clicking on “About,” then “RFPs and Bid Opportunities.”
Respondents must be prequalified by the Ohio Department of Transportation in the relevant
prequalification categories in order to be considered. See the full RFQ document for details.
All questions shall be submitted in writing to Matt Latham, Park Planner/Project Manager, 2051
Timberman Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45013, email mlatham@yourmetroparks.net no later than April
22, 2021.
The project is described as follows: Serve as MetroParks’ contracted Construction Project
Engineer (CPE) and perform construction inspection/administration services for a paved multi-use
trail project in Butler County with a project length of approximately 0.7 miles. The project location
is the Timberhill Area of Rentschler Forest MetroPark, 3976 Hamilton-Middletown Road, Hamilton,
OH 45011.

  • Great Miami River Trail Construction to Begin – Timberhill Area of Rentschler Forest MetroPark and Unpaved Portion of Great Miami River Trail to Close

    Starting August 16, 2021, the Timberhill Area of Rentschler Forest MetroPark and the unpaved portion of the Great Miami River Trail (GMRT) connecting Timberhill to Reigart Road will close for construction of the Great Miami River Trail Extension project. The closure is expected to last until June 2022.

  • Gilmore MetroPark Closures - Beginning July 26, 2021

    The Gilmore Road Entrance to Gilmore MetroPark will be closed July 26, 2021 through October 29, 2021. The southwestern portion of Gilmore MetroPark will also be closed July 26, 2021 until Fall of 2022. These closures are for the City of Hamilton Utility Relocation and Miami 2 Miami Trail Projects. Please see the “news” section for details and maps of the closure areas.
