Great Miami River Trail Construction to Begin – Timberhill Area of Rentschler Forest MetroPark and Unpaved Portion of Great Miami River Trail to Close
Starting August 16, 2021, the Timberhill Area of Rentschler Forest MetroPark and the unpaved portion of the Great Miami River Trail (GMRT) connecting Timberhill to Reigart Road will close for construction of the Great Miami River Trail Extension project. The closure is expected to last until June 2022.

The section of the GMRT between the upstream terminus of the Boat Club Road and Timberhill Area of Rentschler Forest MetroPark is closed due to construction and repair effective August 26, 2020 until it is re-opened by order of the Executive Director of MetroParks. MetroParks apologizes for any inconvenience that this may cause and appreciates your patience during this time.
