Paddle Butler County
MetroParks offers multiple opportunities to recreate on Butler County's scenic waterways. Enjoy a peaceful outing on the Great Miami River, paddle beautiful Four Mile Creek, or practice your kayaking skills at the VOA Lake or the ponds at Meadow Ridge. Launching your own hand-carried watercraft at any MetroPark is FREE, and kayaks and paddleboards are available to rent at VOA Lake.

Great Miami
River Access

- NEW canoe and kayak launch at the Reigart Road Area of Rentschler Forest MetroPark. Parking is available close to the river with a paved pathway down to the launch.
- Canoe and kayak access at the Trenton Trailhead of the Great Miami River Trail. Parking is available close to the river with a paved pathway down to the launch.
VOA Lake

- NEW ADA kayak and canoe launch at VOA Lake. Parking is available near the VOA Lodge, with a paved pathway down to the launch.
- Kayaks and paddleboards are available to rent through MetroParks' Rent.Fun lockers located next to the ADA kayak launch.
Four Mile
Creek Access

- Canoe and kayak launch at the Sycamore Bluffs Area of Four Mile Creek MetroPark. Parking is available close to the creek with a gravel/paved pathway down to the launch.
- Access available at the Antenen Nature Preserve Area of Four Mile Creek MetroPark. Kayaks and canoes must be portaged 0.3-miles from the parking lot to the creek.
Meadow Ridge Area

- Canoe and kayak access points are located near marked areas of the Meadow Ridge Area ponds in Elk Creek MetroPark. Parking is available near Mirror Pond, with a combination of pavement and grass leading to the water.
- Canoeing and kayaking are also permitted at the Meadow Ridge Lake, the North Pond and South Pond, but watercraft must be portaged from the parking area to the water.

Dry Fork Pedestrian Bridge Construction 2023
Construction has begun on the Dry Fork Pedestrian Bridge at Governor Bebb MetroPark. Construction may necessitate the closure of some campsites in the Dry Fork Campground at Governor Bebb. If you have any questions about campsite closures, please contact MetroParks Visitor Services team at (513) 867-5835 or info@yourmetroparks.net.
