Voice of America MetroPark Gazebo

The Gazebo at Voice of America MetroPark is located on the waterfront of the 35-acre VOA Lake and offers visitors a beautiful setting for an outdoor wedding ceremony, anniversary dinners, graduation parties, and more. The 1100-square-foot Gazebo will seat approximately 64 guests. The Gazebo is equipped with picnic tables, electric outlets, and a nearby outdoor grill. Outside food and non-alcoholic beverages can be brought in when reserving the Gazebo. 

The Gazebo can be reserved 8:00 a.m.-Dusk.

Voice of America MetroPark Closures for Voices of America Country Music Fest

Voice of America MetroPark is open to pedestrian traffic ONLY from August 7-August 10 during the Voices of America Country Music Fest. The only car traffic permitted in the park will be for festival general admission. Walkers are invited to enjoy VOA Lake, Wiggly Field Dog Park and most park trails during these dates. The Tylersville Trail is closed to facilitate concert logistics.

General Information:

  • There will be a “Reserved” sign on the shelter indicating that the shelter has been reserved for the day.
  • Shelter reservations are from 8am - dusk.
  • Upon departure, please leave shelter clean and all garbage placed in containers provided (visitors may want to bring extra trash bags).
  • Fishing is permitted with the purchase of a daily or annual Voice of America MetroPark fishing permit.
  • All vehicles must park in designated parking lots.
  • Dogs are allowed, but must be kept on a leash, no longer than 6’ in length. Please clean up after your pet.
  • NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES are permitted in the park.
  • Use of firearms and fireworks is strictly prohibited in all areas of the park. 
  • MetroParks prohibits the use of inflatable equipment such as bounce houses, slides or obstacle courses.
