Field Trip Scholarships
The Friends of Chrisholm offers assistance to Butler County public schools for costs associated with field trips to Chrisholm MetroPark. Scholarships cover the cost of transportation/busing for students and teachers. For more information and to apply, click here.
Additionally, a grant from the Middletown Community Foundationcovers 50% of field trip program fees for schools in the Madison, Middletown, and Edgewood school districts, while funds last. Please ask for details when scheduling your group.

Voice of America MetroPark Closure - 8/23
Voice of America MetroPark will be closed to the public on Sunday, 8/23/26 for the Mojo Triathlon.
Timberhill MetroPark Camp Trails Closure
The Camp Trails at Timberhill MetroPark are closed due to downed limbs.
Butler-Warren & Tylersville Trail
The Tylersville Rd portion of the paved out-and-back trail is closed from the USS Cincinnati Peace Pavilion to the VOA Shopping Center until after the VOA Country Music Festival.
Sebald MetroPark Playground Closure
Sebald MetroPark's small playground between Shelter 2 and Shelter 3 is temporarily closed due to nesting insects.
Sycamore Grove Trail
The Sycamore Grove Trail at Governor Bebb MetroParks has reopened to the public. The trail is non-ADA accessible until gravel replacement work can be completed.
MetroParks Cashless Beginning 1/1/26
MetroParks is keeping it cashless beginning 1/1/26. Credit and debit cards are welcome at MetroParks' Administrative Office and Voice of America MetroPark Welcome Center.
Cash will still be accepted for on-site program registration.
Sebald MetroPark Closures
The Ridge Trail at Sebald MetroParks is closed due to trail rerouting work.
Voice of America MetroPark Cross Country Trail Closures
Portions of the Voice of America MetroPark Cross Country Trails will be closed for trail rerouting work. Trail closures will be marked with signs and barricades.
