Picnic Shelter #1
- Shelter #1 is the first reservable picnic shelter located in the wooded area to the right of the park entrance, near the creek just before crossing over the bridge into the main area of the park.
- This shelter will accommodate up to 50 people and has an adjacent parking area.
- It is equipped with three picnic tables and a grill.
Picnic Shelter #2
- Shelter #2 is a reservable picnic shelter that will accommodate groups up to 50 people.
- It is the first picnic shelter to the right after crossing over the creek into the park.
- This shelter is located along the creek's edge and is adjacent to a small playground area.
- It is equipped with three picnic tables and a grill.
- A (non-flush) restroom is within walking distance.
Picnic Shelter #3
- Shelter #3 is a reservable picnic shelter located along the creek’s edge allowing for creek access.
- This shelter will accommodate groups up to 50 people and is adjacent to a small playground area.
- It is equipped with three picnic tables and a grill.
- A (non-flush) restroom is within walking distance.
Picnic Shelter #4
- Shelter #4 is a reservable picnic shelter located in a wooded area at the end of the first roadway into the park along the creek.
- It will accommodate groups up to 50 people and is equipped with three picnic tables and a grill.
- Playground areas and a (non-flush) restroom are within walking distance.
Picnic Shelter #5
- Shelter #5 is a reservable picnic shelter that will accommodate groups up to 50 people.
- It is located along the main roadway into the park.
- This shelter is located across from Shelter #6 and a small playground area.
- The large main playground is within walking distance.
- It is equipped with three picnic tables and a grill.
- A (non-flush) restroom is also within walking distance.

- Shelter #6 is a reservable picnic shelter that will accommodate groups up to 50 people.
- It is located along the main roadway into the park and is adjacent to a small playground area.
- The main playground area and a (non-flush) restroom are both within walking distance.
- It is equipped with three picnic tables and a grill.
Picnic Shelter #7
- Shelter #7 is a reservable picnic shelter that will accommodate groups up to 50 people.
- It is located near the main playground and is equipped with three picnic tables and a grill.
- A (non-flush) restroom is within walking distance.
Picnic Shelter #9
- Shelter #9 is a reservable picnic shelter that will accommodate groups up to 50 people.
- It is located near the main playground and is equipped with three picnic tables and a grill.
- A (non-flush) restroom is within walking distance.
Picnic Shelter #10
- Shelter #10 is a large reservable picnic shelter located towards the end of the main park road in Sebald Park and will accommodate groups of up to 70 people.
- It is equipped with a built-in charcoal grill and eight picnic tables.
- The main playground area and the restroom house (non-flush) are both within walking distance of this shelter.
Picnic Shelter #11
- Shelter #11 is a large reservable picnic shelter that is the last shelter located at the end of the main park road in Sebald Park and will accommodate groups of up to 70 people.
- It is equipped with a built-in charcoal grill and eight picnic tables.
- The restroom house (non-flush) is adjacent to this shelter and there is a large parking area nearby.
- This shelter is within walking distance of the main playground and is close to the Horse Trail parking area.
General Information:
- When reserved, there will be a “Reserved” sign on the shelter indicating that the shelter has been reserved for the day.
- Shelter reservations are daily from 8am to dusk.
- Upon departure, please leave shelter clean and all garbage placed in containers provided. (Visitors may want to bring extra trash bags.)
- Fishing is permitted with a valid Ohio Fishing License.
- All vehicles must park in designated parking spaces.
- Dogs are allowed, but must be kept on a leash, no longer than 6’ in length. Please clean up after your pet.
- NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES are permitted in the park.
- Trail maps can be found on the website by selecting MetroParks – Elk Creek MetroPark.
- Use of firearms and fireworks is strictly prohibited in all areas of the park.
- MetroParks prohibits the use of inflatable equipment such as bounce houses, slides or obstacle courses.

Voice of America MetroPark Cross Country Trail Closures
Portions of the Voice of America MetroPark Cross Country Trails will be closed for trail rerouting work. Trail closures will be marked with signs and barricades.
