Timberhill Closure Beginning 11/29/23
The Timberhill Area of Rentschler Forest MetroPark will be closed beginning 11/29/23 to accommodate the construction of a new driveway. The Timberhill Trailhead of the Great Miami River Trail is still accessible by foot or by bike, but visitors must park at the Reigart Road Area of Rentschler Forest MetroPark. This alert will be removed from the website once the Timberhill Area has reopened to the public.
Seasonal Trails and Facilities Closures
The following trails and facilities are closed seasonally November 15-April 14:
-The equestrian trails at the Sebald Park Area of Elk Creek MetroPark
-The Timberhill Campground at Rentschler Forest MetroPark (the Timberhill trailhead of the Great Miami River Trail, parking lot and hiking trails will remain open)
-The Pioneer Church Area of Indian Creek MetroPark
Cardinal Trail Closure-Rentschler Forest MetroPark
The Cardinal Trail at Rentschler Forest MetroPark is closed due to nearby construction. This alert will be removed from the website once the trail has reopened.
