MetroParks offers multiple locations to spend a quiet afternoon fishing! All parks require a valid Ohio Fishing License apart from VOA Lake at Voice of America MetroPark, which requires a MetroParks Fishing Permit. Thank you for abiding by all posted signs while fishing.
The Woodsdale Park Area of Chrisholm MetroPark is closed due to high water. This alert will be removed from the website once the park has reopened to the public.
Timberman Ridge Closures- April 16
The Timberman Rd. parking lot, Kestrel Shelter and playground at the Timberman Ridge Area of Forest Run MetroPark will be closed April 16th to facilitate the delivery and instillation of new flush restroom facilities in the park. The Springhouse and Warvel trailheads will be open as usual, and the park's trails accessible from those lots. This alert will be removed once all facilities have reopened to the public.
Seasonal Trails and Facilities Closures
The following trails and facilities are closed seasonally November 15-April 14:
-The equestrian trails at the Sebald Park Area of Elk Creek MetroPark
-The Timberhill Campground at Rentschler Forest MetroPark (the Timberhill trailhead of the Great Miami River Trail, parking lot and hiking trails will remain open)
-The Pioneer Church Area of Indian Creek MetroPark
The Cardinal Trail at Rentschler Forest MetroPark is closed due to nearby construction. This alert will be removed from the website once the trail has reopened.
