A portion of Timberhill Drive will be closed for repaving work on Monday, 9/16 - Wednesday, 9/18. Timberhill MetroPark will remain open. Please follow the posted detour signs to exit the park.

Meadow Ridge MetroPark
Picnic Shelter
- The Meadow Ridge Shelter is a reservable picnic shelter, which will accommodate up to 80 people and is located in the Meadow Ridge Area of Elk Creek MetroPark.
- The shelter is handicapped accessible with a paved walkway to the shelter.
- It is equipped with picnic tables and a grill and is adjacent to a large paved parking area.
General Information:
- When reserved, there will be a “Reserved” sign on the shelter indicating that the shelter has been reserved for the day.
- Shelter reservations are daily from 8am to dusk.
- Upon departure, please leave shelter clean and all garbage placed in containers provided. (Visitors may want to bring extra trash bags.)
- Fishing is permitted with a valid Ohio Fishing License.
- All vehicles must park in designated parking spaces.
- Dogs are allowed, but must be kept on a leash, no longer than 6’ in length. Please clean up after your pet.
- NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES are permitted in the park.
- Trail maps can be found on the website by selecting MetroParks – Elk Creek MetroPark.
- Use of firearms and fireworks is strictly prohibited in all areas of the park.
- MetroParks prohibits the use of inflatable equipment such as bounce houses, slides or obstacle courses.

Meadow Ridge MetroPark Connector Road Construction
Construction on the Meadow Ridge MetroPark Connector Road is underway. Closures are in effect for portions of the Twin Lakes and Dave's Trace Trails. Please follow posted closures and marked detours. Construction is expected to be completed in October 2024.
