Sebald MetroParks' entrance will be closed 1/12-1/15 to facilitate bridge work. Sebald MetroPark will still be accessible via the Elk Creek Connector Road from Meadow Ridge MetroPark (5101 Circle Parkway).

Meadow Ridge MetroPark
Picnic Shelter

- The Meadow Ridge Shelter is a reservable picnic shelter, which will accommodate up to 80 people and is located in the Meadow Ridge Area of Elk Creek MetroPark.
- The shelter is handicapped accessible with a paved walkway to the shelter.
- It is equipped with picnic tables and a grill and is adjacent to a large paved parking area.
General Information:
- When reserved, there will be a “Reserved” sign on the shelter indicating that the shelter has been reserved for the day.
- Shelter reservations are daily from 8am to dusk.
- Upon departure, please leave shelter clean and all garbage placed in containers provided. (Visitors may want to bring extra trash bags.)
- Fishing is permitted with a valid Ohio Fishing License.
- All vehicles must park in designated parking spaces.
- Dogs are allowed, but must be kept on a leash, no longer than 6’ in length. Please clean up after your pet.
- NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES are permitted in the park.
- Trail maps can be found on the website by selecting MetroParks – Elk Creek MetroPark.
- Use of firearms and fireworks is strictly prohibited in all areas of the park.
- MetroParks prohibits the use of inflatable equipment such as bounce houses, slides or obstacle courses.
Metropark Alerts
Sycamore Bluffs MetroPark Closed 1/12-1/22/26
Sycamore Bluffs MetroPark will be closed 1/12-1/22 to facilitate parking lot apron work.
Walk-ups Welcome for 1/10 Winter Hike
Due to issues with MetroParks' reservation system, walk-up registration is welcome for the 1/10 Winter Hike Series hike at Rentschler Forest MetroPark. Cash or credit cards are accepted onsite. Happy hiking!
Springhouse Lot closure 1/2-1/12/26
Timberman Ridge MetroParks' Springhouse parking lot will be closed 1/2-1/12/26 to facilitate concrete work.
MetroParks Cashless Beginning 1/1/26
MetroParks is keeping it cashless beginning 1/1/26. Credit and debit cards are welcome at MetroParks' Administrative Office and Voice of America MetroPark Welcome Center.
Cash will still be accepted for on-site program registration.
2025-2026 Seasonal Park Closures
The following parks and facilities will be closed for the 2025-2026 winter season:

-Flush restrooms at Rentschler Forest and Meadow Ridge MetroParks
-Sebald MetroPark Equestrian Trails (November 15-April 14)
Salamander Run MetroPark Trail Closures

Tylersville Trail Closures 2025-2026
Voice of America MetroParks' Tylersville Trail will be closed west of Field 20 to Crosley to facilitate USS Cincinnati construction.
Sebald MetroPark Closures
The Ridge Trail at Sebald MetroParks is closed due to trail rerouting work.
Voice of America MetroPark Cross Country Trail Closures
Portions of the Voice of America MetroPark Cross Country Trails will be closed for trail rerouting work. Trail closures will be marked with signs and barricades.
