MetroParks Vision Plans are general depictions of potential park enhancements that could occur over ten years or more. They are used to communicate the vision for a particular park to potential grant funders, sponsors, and the public. Plans are adopted by the Board of Park Commissioners following a public engagement process that unfolds over several months to a year. The timing of when the enhancements shown on the plans are implemented depends on the availability of funding and how they are balanced with other MetroParks priorities. In most cases, further studies or designs will be needed before work begins on a particular park enhancement.
