Ohio has over 1,000 moth species, many of which are more colorful than butterflies, and they are very important for pollinating plants. Join Elisabeth Rothschild of Ohio Lepidopterists to discover how to attract moths to your backyard and explore fun ways to identify them. This program will include a short night hike. Dress appropriately for walking on dark, uneven terrain. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Experience Nature in a Blink, a year-long series where you become eyewitness to the elusive wonders of nature at your favorite MetroParks. Each fall, monarch butterflies migrate up to thousands of miles to their overwintering sites in Mexico. Learn what makes these insects unique, as well as how to safely capture, tag, and release them. Become part of an international effort to contribute valuable data protecting this endangered phenomenon, and learn what you can do to promote their success.
