MetroParks of Butler County Announces Legacy Foundation Online Auction

MetroParks of Butler County is pleased to announce the first MetroParks Legacy Foundation Online Auction, running December 8-12, 2025. The auction will raise funds to support the MetroParks Legacy Foundation, a dedicated fund held by the Hamilton Community Foundation.
Auction proceeds will go towards providing field trip scholarships to the MetroParks for Butler County schools. Scholarships funded through the MetroParks Legacy Foundation give local kids the chance to explore trails, wildlife, and outdoor education programs many schools would not otherwise be able to provide.
What You Can Bid On
The online auction features a variety of donated items, experiences, and gift packages from local businesses and non-profit organizations.
- Original artwork from the famous Fiona, Bibi and Fritz of the Cincinnati Zoo
- Two four-day Main Stage VIP passes to the 2026 VOA Country Music Fest
- Local hotel stays, restaurant gift cards, exclusive MetroParks experiences and much more!

MetroParks Cashless Beginning 1/1/26

MetroParks is keeping it cashless beginning 1/1/26. Credit and debit cards are welcome at MetroParks' Administrative Office and Voice of America MetroPark Welcome Center. Cash will still be accepted for on-site program registration.

Salamander Run MetroPark Trail Closures

Voice of America MetroParks' Tylersville Trail will be closed west of Field 20 to Crosley Boulevard September 2nd - November 26th to facilitate USS Cincinnati construction.

Mill Race Preserve MetroPark Closure

Beginning May 27th, restoration work on the Black Covered Bridge will close the entrance to Mill Race Preserve MetroPark. The park can be accessed via the Oxford Area Trail System to the east.
