MetroParks of Butler County Celebrates National Parks & Recreation Month with Free Partnered Programs
MetroParks of Butler County is joining the nationwide celebration of National Parks and Recreation Month this July with a series of free, partnered programs that reflect this year’s theme: “Build Together, Play Together.”
In collaboration with local organizations, MetroParks is offering creative, hands-on programs that build community through play, learning, and shared outdoor experiences—exactly what the national celebration is all about.
“Parks are places where connections are made,” said MetroParks Executive Director Jackie O’Connell. “Whether it’s families discovering science together, or neighbors learning more about Butler County’s rich history, this year’s theme—Build Together, Play Together—captures the spirit of what we strive to create every day.”
