MetroParks of Butler County is thrilled to announce the return of the USA Triathlon Youth & Jr. National Championships to Voice of America MetroPark August 1-3, 2025. The event was last held at the park in 2022. Young triathletes between the ages of 7 and 19 from across the United States will gather to compete in swim, bike, and run disciplines across age-group, junior draft-legal, mixed relay, and adaptive/neurodiverse categories.

To ensure the safety of competitors and spectators the following roads and facilities will be closed:

Road Closures

• astbound lanes of Liberty Way from Cox Road to Butler Warren Road will be closed
• Liberty Way will be open to westbound traffic only
• Southbound lanes of Butler Warren Road will be closed from Liberty Way/Mason Road to Tylersville Road
• Butler-Warren Road will be open to northbound traffic only
• Closures will be in effect on Saturday, August 2 from approximately 5 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Sunday, August 3 from approximately 5 a.m. to 3 p.m.

  Park Closures

• Voice of America MetroPark will be closed to all vehicular traffic except for those with parking passes from 5:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on August 2 and 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on August 3
• Walk-in spectator traffic is welcome
• Event participants and spectators must enter the park on Cox Rd. and exit on Butler Warren Rd., following the traffic routes outlined in the map below
• Wiggly Field Dog Park will be closed until 4:00 p.m. on August 2 and 1:00 p.m. on August 3. The public is welcome to visit the dog park in their cars after the conclusion of the triathlon on both event days.

These precautions are taken in collaboration with West Chester Township, MetroParks of Butler County, and the West Chester Police Department.
