Launch Your Own Watercraft

There is no charge to launch hand-carried watercraft at the VOA Lake, located at the north side of Voice of America MetroPark. 

MetroParks recently completed construction of an adaptive kayak launch at the VOA Lake, which is now open to the public and is FREE to use. The ADA-compliant launch was funded by a $75,000 Paddling Enhancement Grant from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. The adaptive kayak launch utilizes a series of ramps, handrails and platforms to assist those with varying mobility needs to launch canoes, kayaks and other hand-powered watercraft into the VOA Lake.
